Season 13 of the Online GBBL brought together four fiercely contested divisions, each packed with six teams all battling to secure a coveted playoff spot. With only the best progressing, every match carried weight—and by the end of the regular season, the playoff picture was stacked with quality from across the North East.
The headline act came in a final that will be remembered more for nerve than flair. PEO’s Orcs faced off against WYNTERS DAD’s Amazons in a game defined by sheer defensive resilience. Neither side could find a breakthrough in normal time, and even extra time failed to separate them. It ultimately went to penalties, where PEO held their nerve to claim the Season 13 title. A cagey, hard-fought encounter—proper Blood Bowl.
Over in the Plate competition, there was a more open contest as OBERON WOLF’s Orcs overcame NACHO’s Halflings in a 2–1 victory. The Halflings put up a spirited fight, but the Orcs’ strength and control proved decisive, securing the Plate and some well-earned silverware.

With Blood Bowl 3 set to transition into Warhammer Blood Bowl under a new ruleset in the coming months, the league now finds itself at a crossroads. With an estimated three-month gap before the new era begins, discussions are already underway about a potential short-format competition to keep coaches sharp and the rivalries simmering.
